About Voizard Rochon
In 1950, Alain Voizard, notary, founded the firm Voizard Notaires. At the time, Mr. Voizard commuted between Montreal and Sainte-Adèle, where he practiced his profession. In 1974, the firm became a family business when Alain’s eldest son, André D. Voizard, notary, came aboard. Together, they formed Voizard Voizard Notaires, the first full-time notary’s office in Sainte-Adèle.
The well-known firm has been at its present location since 1997, a testament to its deep roots in the Sainte-Adèle community. A decade later, a third Voizard generation joined the firm as a partner:, notary, a graduate of the University of Ottawa and eldest son of André. He is also a very active member of the Sainte-Adèle community.
Always focused on its commitment to offering clients excellent and meticulous services, in 2011 the firm hired Malaika Sagesse-Lumbu, notary, Her arrival helped the firm diversify the legal services it offers, particularly in the personal and family practice areas, attracting a more diverse group of clients.
Félix Rochon, notary, joined the team in 2019. With his extensive experience in real estate and business law, his arrival helped the firm boost its presence in its region and community. After Mr. Rochon became a partner in 2020, the firm adopted the name Voizard Rochon Notaires.
Finally, the firm expanded in 2024 when Me Barbara Thompson joined the team. After articling with André Voizard, she went on to establish her own practice in Morin Heights, where she worked for several years. Ms. Thompson joins Voizard Rochon where she began her practice. Her sought-after expertise in family and personal law enables the firm to establish its credibility in all areas of traditional notarial practice.

Today, the firm has more than 75,000 deeds en minute on file, related to individual and commercial clients located mainly in the Pays-d’en-Haut MRC. It is also the legal custodian of the records of notaries Alain Voizard, Louis Jacques Steenackers, André Vallée and Jean-Charles Luc.
